Dr. Tom Karr
Dr. Tom Karr was born and raised in Amarillo. He attended Amarillo High School and Texas Tech University. He graduated from The University of Texas Dental School, San Antonio in 1984. He is the son of Dr. & Mrs. Carter E. Karr. Dr. Carter Karr was in private practice from 1961 until 1993 and now works at the Clements Prison in Amarillo. Dr. Karr's brother-in-law is also a dentist in Amarillo.
He attends Hillside Christian Church and has been active in various community and civic organizations including: South Amarillo Kiwanis, The High Plains Epilepsy Association, Golden Spread Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and The American Diabetes Association.
Dr. Karr is Past-President of the Panhandle District Dental Society and a Delegate to the Texas Dental Association. He is Past-President of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry (2000-2001) and is the only dentist in the Panhandle to head this organization.
Dr. Karr received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1996 and Master of the AGD in 2009.He was nominated for Texas Dentist of the Year in 1996. His hobbies include tennis, running and scuba diving. He keeps very busy raising 3 children and a black lab named Maggie.
Dr. Clint Hardee
Dr. Hardee is a native of the Panhandle of Texas; he was born in Lubbock and spent most of his childhood and teenage years in Dalhart.
Upon graduation from Dalhart High School, he enrolled in Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. From Tech he entered dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he received his D.D.S. degree with honors.
Dr. Hardee has one older brother, Bret, who resides in Broken Arrow, OK with his wife Christi and their two sons, Hayden and Hudson. Dr. Hardee's parents, Dennis and Debra, are residents of Amarillo and they all enjoy spending time together.
Dr. Hardee is an active member of The Panhandle District Dental Society where he has been a board member since 2002 and on the Peer Review Committee since 2003. He is serving at the state level with The Texas Dental Association as a member of The New Dentist Committee. Dr. Hardee is the committee chair for the In-Office Aid Group since 2004 and a co-founder of The Palo Duro Study Club. He is also a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association, and The Academy of Oral Medicine.
Kristina
Kristina is our Business Manager. She has been with Karr and Hardee Dentistry since 1998. She is also a Registered Dental Assistant and is here to help our patients attain their oral health goals by helping them understand their treatment options, insurance policies, and financial options. Please do not hesitate to call her with any questions or concerns you may have. Kristina enjoys being silly with her two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Lexi, hanging out at the pool, working out, enjoying a good movie and family cookouts. They attend Hillside Christian Church.
Cameron
Cameron, our Practice Coordinator, worked for Dr. Karr in 1997-2000 and rejoined our team in 2007. Cameron enjoys greeting patients and getting them scheduled for upcoming treatment. She also enjoys visiting with new patients and getting them familiar with our dental practice. Cameron and her husband, Randy, have two children, Kade and Karyn. They love baseball and cookouts with family and friends. Cameron looks forward to serving all of our patients for many years to come.
Debbie
Debbie is one of our Hygienists. She grew up in Adrian, TX, attended WTSU and graduated in 1997 from Amarillo College in Dental Hygiene. For several years Debbie was a “fill in” hygienist for us and has been here full time since 2004. She and her husband, Jeff, have three teenagers. Debbie loves traveling, shopping, and giving her patients the best care.
Ginger
Ginger is one of our Dental Hygienists. She graduated from Amarillo College Dental Hygiene Program in 1990. Ginger joined our team in November 2007. She and her husband, Michael, enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Neely
Neely, one of our Registered Dental Assistants and Purchasing Specialist has been with the office since 1996. Neely and her husband, Randall, have three children and enjoy spending quality family time together on the weekends. Neely enjoys taking exceptional care of her patients and looks forward to many more years.
Dawn
Dawn is a Registered Dental Assistant that has been with the practice since 2003. Dawn thoroughly enjoys working with the staff and takes pride in helping patients achieve their dental needs and goals. When not at the office, Dawn enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and camping.
Misty
Misty is a Registered Dental Assistant with many years of dental experience including 5 years of previous pediatric experience. She has been with our team since July 2005. Misty was born and raised here in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1995. Misty has two beautiful sons, Seth and Shelton. When she is not at work she is outside playing with her sons, spending time with family and friends, or at the lake.
Rebecca
Rebecca is a Registered Dental Assistant. She has been a part of the Karr and Hardee family off and on since 1996. Rebecca is cross-trained and can help our patients in the clinical operatories or the front office. She grew up in Dalhart, and currently lives in Vega with her husband, Jeff, and their two daughters, Macee and Bentlee. Rebecca enjoys riding four wheelers, camping, golfing, and water and snow skiing with her family.
